Coronavirus is not just shaking the world but also the faith of many. Major gatherings all over the world have halted, including religious gatherings. It has not only affected the way people relate with each other but also the way people worship.

I pause and think about the early body of Christ and what they would do, and I recall how they faced death daily, didn't hide from a famine but rose to provide aid. Would they have stopped meeting, due to fear of death from a virus when they didn't stop when Romans were killing them? For such was God's power among them that even when a man died during Paul's teaching God brought the man back to life. Yes it wasn't a daily occurrence but they had faith in God's presence to protect them.

The present day church as portrayed by the media, which are led by greedy people who take from the needy and promise them health and healing are closing their doors and some like Copeland hope to still collect tithe in this crisis and time. So sad and such a shame.

How do you people still believe in them?

Not only have they been preaching and teaching lies, at a time when the world is looking for a practical solution, do they lock their doors and wait for the world to solve it's problems?

Were they ever light?
At a time when there is a thick darkness over the world and the souls of men should be won. Where are these men who have robbed the poor blind all in the name of possessing the anointing of God to do the 'undoable'?
Where are those who preach that by the word of their mouths anything is possible? Have they gone into isolation or hiding as well?
Are they afraid to lay those anointed hands?

And you who believe them will you let them lay their hands on your face?
Will you join hands together during service and pray?

Only if we will be humble and we admit the truth, we won't continue to be deceived?

We are hearing prophecies that coronavirus will end in April by TB Joshua and Paul Eneche, will they also close their doors as directed by the government?

What happens when such prophecies fail by men who haven't shown that God can and will heal these disease or be the one to end it?

Will a cure first come out before any of those affected are miraculously healed?

I have no doubt that God heals, and no fear of death from any disease for we know that when we die God's glory awaits us, so should we who have such faith live in fear?

Since church activities are halted I hope to see true children of God unafraid of the virus going and ministering to those who are affected about the kingdom of God and salvation for the souls of men and hopefully God not only saves souls but also heals the sick - as a true light to the world.

I know this that the virus wont change nor affect the way a true child of God lives or worships God.

But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him.
God is a Spirit: and they that worship him must worship him in spirit and in truth.

John 4:23-24

For we know that those who are led by the Spirit of God are children of God and when two or three of them are gathered God is in their midst.

The one thing I see that this virus will do is bring a sharp cut to hypocrisy and end a lot of religious practices because if men realize they can survive past the lies of that if you don't go to church hell will break lose, if pastor doesn't pray for you heaven won't open. Then you learn to read the bible and study with the spirit of God, then you learn to pray and hear God for yourself, wouldn't you then grow in the truth. When you finally relate with the few people whose name you never knew and not have to rush off after the grace.

You realize you don't need a temple to worship God.

So will you still go to Church tomorrow?
Or will you worship from door to door like the early body of Christ did?

@ myvillagepeople you agree that making a reference to learning as a thing of color is a racist statement.

As there are very brilliant blacks and very silly dumb whites

Whatever happened to watching services online? A lot of churches stream online too. I even watched Joel Osteen's church service recently, just a small congregation of staff in the church but still gives the experience of a church service. No matter the situation, we will keep moving forward.

With this I hope you'll be the 1st out the gate to go the hospital to go and deliver coronavirus patients from their ailment with your magic powers. I presume you mean the time is now for a practical demonstration of your god's power, not for sitting behind a device and typing idealistic messages. Let's see a practical demonstration.

To all Christians out there, Jesus has been practicing social distancing for over 2000 years. Be like Jesus.

True believers don't believe in large gathering!

We only meet like that three times in a year {Deuteronomy 16:16} for the purpose of meeting fellow worshipers from far distant lands and most cases that's when we meet some who have been antagonists of the faith but later became believers!

Members shouldn't be more than 120 during worship, anything more than that means we must split to form a new congregation.

Today TRUE Christians in some advance countries have been directed to stay in their homes and worship together via the Internet, in Nigeria we are still meeting but divided into smaller groups of less than 50 members.

Covid19 can't stop us from worshiping our own God because nobody is making fortune out of our gathering, so no matter the number of worshipers, our God accepts the heartfelt praise we render before him!

Our worship is in SPIRIT and TRUTH! John 4:24 smiley
