I wrote this motivational poem for anyone out there suffering from any challenge whatsoever. I want them to know that there’s always hope. Do not give up hope. Hope is all we need now in the terrible time of the corona virus epidemic. We need hope. Let us fight the enemy together. Don’t lose hope.

The words

We have a power we cannot put away
The gleam of a match in the dark
Maturing into a flame from a spark
The hope of another day
The hope of another way

And though yesterday be doom and gloom
And the rain beat upon the earth
And the women cry at childbirth
And the men, outside the operating room
Hope is our restroom

Hope is the grim reaper without his scythe
The smile of a starving child
The ears of a blind man
The silence after the boom
The son of a fallen king

And we may not speak of it
But we believe in it
We may not think it too much
But we know it’s in there
For were it is life is

And without we cease
And with increase
Like the fruits on trees
We’ll be at peace
like a masterpiece.
