Have you ever heard the term corporate social responsibility? Can you tell me how DStv fulfils that? Servile mentality keeps some people from experiencing emancipation.

It doesn't matter whether they love NIgerian or not. A sea is a deal..contract is contract...dilute the market buy barring exclusivity..to allow competition create packages for consumer benefit....

This is not good at all.

Knowing who these nigerians are most especially how STINGY and HEARTLESS they are, most of them will NEVER subscribe again once they know they can continue to enjoy those local stations.

NBC should please reconsider.

but the real devil we will face in this stay at home na PHCN (NEPA) not even DStv,gotv etc, because alot of Nigerians don't even have television but alot has ceiling/standing fans to sleep with in the night.

Why are local stations even encrypted in the first place?
These are not premium stations we are talking about.

Govt should order these Providers to decrypt all Free-to-Air stations and only encrpt premium stations, as done in other countries.
