In Nigeria, nobody is thinking about the impact of the Coronavirus on the economy. The price of crude oil has crashed so badly and even at that, countries are still not buying. Our fragile internal economy is now under the strain of a partial lockdown. If the lockdown is sustained for a long period, how will people survive? What will happen to our local economy?

Yesterday, Tinubu attempted to profer a solution by advising government to quickly print more Naira in the interim so as to provide social security to the population and sustain the local economy till the crisis is over. Instead of debating the merit and demerit of his suggestion, people who don’t understand how the virus will affect our economy descended on him and accused him of looking for more money to steal. Some quack errconomist even opined that Nigeria will become Zimbabwe overnight.

Whatever the case, this is the time to start thinking of how to rescue the country from the economic recession that is staring at us in the face. If we all keep pretending that all is well, the recession that will hit us in the next few weeks is already doing press up. And this time around, it will be worse than the last one because it would be a global recession.
Recover the $600 billion dollars looted since 1960 by Nigeria's gang of current and former leaders looters, period!

WHO is testing 4 drugs as we speak. One of them is chloroquine, a generic drug which used to be very cheap. A vaccine takes at least 12 months to develop but we will get one eventually. The problem with this Coronavirus is that it moves so fast. Democratic leaders are used to spending weeks debating with each other before coming to a consensus about what should be done. Coronavirus doesn’t allow for that. You have to take action to reduce the spread as soon as you can.

This is a country that understand the needs of masses.
This can't happen in Nigeria.
Reasons:
Politicians don't care about the masses in this worse period.
Rather they have 2 or 3 power Generators filled with fuel or diesel.
Inside their rooms, They have up to 6 to 10 refrigerators filled with different kinds of drinks and fruits.

Politicians are fully comfortable under this Corona virus period.

While i have not agree with that guy on any matter so far on this platform, i think what he meant with the suicide note, is that they can't base their investigation on mere observation and belief (as the news rightly said), even while we know that not all suicide victims leave a written note.
