One of Buharis numerous aides Tolu Ogunlesi was forced to beat a hasty retreat earlier today after a Twitter User Confronted him with an old tweet against GEJ in 2014 during the Ebola epidemic.

In two tweets Tolu called on Jonathan to urgently call a meeting of the Cabinet , Health offiicials, NEMA and NSA . In the second tweet tolu wrote " We want to know we have a President who is thinking of the seriousness of Ebola.

Unfortunately for the Twitter User Tolu immidiately blocked him. But the good news here is that after 35 days Buhari has finally decided to address the country.

Nigeria has tested less than 300 persons according to reports with almost one third of them testing positive. These has led to widespread call for the president to take leadership as citizens panic over a complete lack of direction , outright lies and haphazard response to an epidemic that has shut down the world.

The Special Adviser to the President on Media and Publicity, Mr. Femi Adesina, has defended the decision of the President, Maj.Gen Muhammadu Buhari (retd.), not to address Nigerians daily amid the raging COVID-19 pandemic.

Adesina said on Channels Television’s ‘Politics Today’ programme on Thursday that it wasn’t Buhari’s “style” to brief Nigerians.
