You're a geologist, he's a professor of geology.
Can you not see the difference, and how your disagreement doesn't mean a thing

It was predicted by weather forecasters that there would be a thunderstorm in that region. You can Google it.

I was wondering if a bomb explosion could cause a crater as wide and deep as that.
Even scientists in USA saw the thing drop. It came as a surprise when our almighty police came up with the story of a dynamite explosion

LIES"!

METEORS DONT HAVE WHEELS.

THE EARLIER REPORT WAS ACCURATE.

THIS IS A DISGRACEFUL ATTEMPT TO COVER UP, THAT BUHARI GOVERNMENT ARE MOVING BOMBS AROUND DOWN SOUTH IN TIME OF PEACE.

Police was escorting explosives ba? Where d debris of the trucks? The dead police escorts nkor? From what Akure people said, the explosion occurred at midnight. Which kind commando police wan come dey escorts explosives by that time? Nigerians need to critically weigh information passed down and not just swallow them like pythons.

I was surprised.I kept reading the report again and again looking for human casualties. At least the truck didn't drive itself

A good question that begs for answers
Racoon:
shocked Metoers? Wetin we do mother nature nah? Why is the FG yet to address the nation on this scary development? Perhaps Bubu is not aware as usual?

Meanwhile, why did the police alleged that the Ondo creater was caused by dynamite when there are no pieces of the exploded truck or victims of the destruction?

So, who made up the story
of an explosives carrying truck?

We are truly comedians in
this country.

BTW, meteorites are sold on
the international market for
hard currency, a kilogram could
get you over $1OO.

Anyone around the axis should
get some & contact me.

I think the cover up story from the police was an advice from NASA , to curb fear from the locals ..

The police report was filled with a lot of loopholes. You could see them trying so hard to make you believe it was a bomb. The police that gave the report sef was not bold, he was stammering. Police are our friends anyway, the prof is not. You know who to believe. grin

Not with the amount of bombs the Truck was carrying.

Just go to youtube and watch examples.

The parts left would have traveled very far in the blast scattered.

Like is it possible for a meteor to enter Nigeria airspace and our Airforce or radar force is not aware of it .....

Then Nuclear Bomb or IBM can enter and we won't know ....

Atleast, our Profs are the one analysing not Germans or Russia ...... If not for Corona .... !

Nigeria is not an ordinary country. So the police are not correct nah. Abi. When they said no casualty, I have been wondering how can the police escorting, the driver of the truck etc escape being harmed with this level of impact?

As usual after this prof, the next will be a pastor coming up with his own spiritual theory. We need external helpooooo. I am afraiding of this country!

The Nigeria police is most ignorant in the world and they can lie from the pit of hell.

Anyway their father in abuja also lie all the time

How i knew the police were lying is that it is IMPOSSIBLE for anyone to outrun a shockwave!

So how did the policemen escape certain death or even injuries and where is the shrapnels from the exploded truck.

Believe the nig govt at your peril lipsrsealed
Yeah thanks for the early observations and the aerial picture on the other thread.

I was so disappointed when the police says it was a bomb, a bomb without smoke and fire. My question was that does the vehicle conveying the bomb evaporated? No sign of bomb at all. I'm living in Akure, and my house is in Ijoka, almost 20 kilometer from the incident, we felt the impact because our house vibrated. It was a meteors from space if you see the images and familiar with documentary associated with that.
In conclusion, I was also very disappointed with my brothers from the east, because they were so happy to drew their conclusion it was a terrorist attack, why were they happy even if it was? I asked myself! If there's a terrorist attack in Arakale Akure, 80% casualty will be the Igbos.
Even if Nigeria is bad today, we Yoruba don't wish any tribe evil. I love the Igbos, and I also love the Hausas, I see everybody as my brother.
Let us all remember that, if we're wishing someone evil, evil will never depart us too.
GOD BLESS EVERYONE
