Na just mumu mumu random drugs them dey give them for hospital. Na them dey recover by themselves

See even if you have the symptoms of Corona
Just relax at home your body will recover
Our body dey always develop biological denfense and immunity to destroy that viruse except maybe you are old and probably get other problem before like diabetes and heart problem that can slow down the rate at which your body fights disease

If what u said is true , why are the whites dying like fowls

Those recovering from Covid-19 how manage?

Treatment is supportive and recovery is self limiting...you can go to the WHO page to read more about it...cheers

[quote author=Infomizer post=87926612]

I concur abeg. We need full disclosure.[/quote

These drugs are common medications like paracetamol to reduce fever and pain, anti emetics to improve vomiting, ORS and if needed antidiarhoeal agents to reduce diarrhoea and prevent dehydration, IV fluid if moderate or severe dehydration becomes apparent or patient can't tolerate orally, multivitamins to boost the immune response, antihistamine to subside catarrhal symptoms and cough, antibiotics if viral pnuemonia develops to prevent secondary bacterial colonization etc. It's all symptomatic treatment that's why it's termed supportive management while hoping the body mounts a robust immune response to kill or inactivate the virus and improves general well being. The cure and vaccine are yet to be established because COVID-19 is the newest strain of the corona virus family and its viral properties are still under study. Hence, the cure might not be established in this current pandemic including its vaccine but in due course these would likely be sorted. It's a process.
For more information visit the WHO or NCDC page

That is viral disease for you.

Your body immune system can clear it within days if its stronger then the virus, but if weaker no way.

That is why he said, stop smoking.

The lungs is it point of entrance, if the lungs are strong, the virus will go.

Smokers have weaker lungs.

Individuals testify of being cured from the virus but always keep the cure secret.

You took 8 tablets in the morning and 13 tablets at noon. How about you tell the world the names of the tables that cured you so millions will be saved.
Those that need to know are in the know. If it is common knowledge then those drugs will disappear from shelves just like tissue, eggs, bread and milk. Those drugs are POM but i wouldn't put it pass people who would break into pharmacies to raid off the drugs from the Shelves and sell them online.

What is treated is the various symptoms presented by the patient (it could be headache, diarrhea, Pneumonia etc.) Different people will have different symptoms so what works for one may not be effective for the other.

One's immune system fights it off, presumably...just like other viruses, like the common cold. No cure or vaccine for that, either, but the body takes care of it. But one needs to have a functioning immune system.

I saw her testimony on a WhatsApp platform too, and I wondered why the name of the drug wasn't mentioned

It's very simple. The drug is definitely not a curative one and was probably used to manage the symptoms.
Tell Nigerians the name of the drug and watch them storm pharmacies in search of the drugs even without testing positive.

It's definitely going to be taken on preventive bases. They'll overdo it and kill themselves in the process. You and I are both Nigerians and we ought to know ourselves. I support the dude 100% grin

No i did not insinuate that, these drugs are prescription only medicines which means innocent souls should not have access to them unless prescribed. We should just stay calm, abide with the social distancing, wash your hands stuff. The whole world is in dire straits, we need a lot of positivity and compliance.

i think those drugs she was administered was to treat the symptoms that come with the virus like the vomiting, stooling, cough, running nose and so on with the hope that her immune system will fight off the actual virus, and then the recovery. My opinion though.
l think so too plus adding vitamin C to boost d immune. Unfortunately, they won't give her natural food rich in vitamin C, just saying.

As of now, there's no cure. You can recover from Corona virus by just staying in your house and resting. It disappears on its own after some time.
seems so. I read something similar online dt it can be cured without even visiting the hospital or u even knowing. U wl just think u are treating malaria. That's why guys need to live healthy. Avoid smoking and too much drink. Sleep well and eat good food with fruits and vegetables. May God provide the means for us cos we gat no government. Now they are trapped

I thank God almighty for your recovery, I will not blame you for not mentioning the name of drugs that you used, on the ground that only God heals, all human efforts God is saying to it, he is almighty, the alpha and omega. Doctors all over the world are doing error and trial non gas been able to prove the actual cure as different patients recovers mysteriously as they all got the virus mysteriously. God have mercy on us, and heal the land.

All the we hear on air is our agents are fully on ground, we are working around the time, we are on top of the situation, we are fully prepared and ready to swing into action. but in reality, almost all testimonies confirm lack of man power, preparedness nor enough equipment to tackle the growing cases. only the highly placed are being jeted around to receive more intensive care.
what I did all day was preaching to educate people about corona virus but people don't seem to believe or take it seriously. where are our politicians when you need them,,,? they will be all over the place preaching to people to vote them but when it has to do with what would help them., you won't see them. Isolation in Nigeria is not easy as they rant on the air or on the media ooo. here is not Europe. stay safe o

you make sense shaa. But staying at home when infected sounds to me as if most of those you advice live in palace where there are many rooms. people are not serious o. If this corona gbege goes south, many people will be quarantined under mango trees and bushes. No be this people who live 7 in one room for face me I face you compounds? this virus is more contagious than leprosy o. I talked and talked till I almost shout myself hoax but people be like, forget nothing will happen. God help us, Nigerian can't handle this without God oo

Those are just drugs to ease the symptoms, not necessarily kill the virus.
