Got from a friend in the US that their Government is preparing cheque of $1200 for each citizen.

Our Government should state figures to put the mind of people at some kinda rest. I doubt if Nigerians can be indoor for up to 7 days.

You're more stupid than he is. You know why?
I have enlightened him and he has been educated.
You on the other hand are still chronically foolish despite being schooled.

The stupidity in your DNA, Harvard cannot remove it.
And all your Havard schooling did not teach you choice of words?

I pray this outbreak make Europe return back to their Christian root. They have become increasingly atheist leaving their Christian root.

They sing sweet songs in the stadium but do not compose any for God. They have also closed down their worship centres and sold them to clubs.
Look at how they promote homo sexual-ism and lesbianism. Their latest stupidity involves the production of sex dols.

A whole Europe, known for their catholic faith, hardly do they fast or even recognise Lenten season these days.

Time to return to God is now.

I don't know why in times of crisis like this , people like you spring up with this kinda sentiments...

I'd just read The Stand by Stephen King. There's a major character, a fear monger and religion manipulator like you in it.

When the flu pandemic of 1918 occurred was the supposed cause of this current pandemic (in your words, lesbianism and singing secular songs in stadia and sex dolls) rampant. Mind you 1918 pandemic killed 50 million and yet the world did not end.

I am yet to talk of the Bubonic plague sef.

So chill and pray we get a vaccine in 18 months and stop subserving people's faith

Throwback:
We all need to make personal sacrifices for our own survival.

Those that are too learned to accept that the federal government can effect such lockdown, should sue the government after they have survived this pandemic and the courts are reopened to entertain such learned survivors.

This is a very brilliant submission!

there is no substance in this regulation. stay home, stay home and see it as a patriotic duty to stay home. stay home does not help the average nigerian. no light. no food. no hospitals. no survival. how can you stay home when you have no home? a high percentage of lagosians are homeless. where will they stay? if the citizens have a patriotic duty to stay home, what then is the duty of the government? most nigerians are jobless and some survive on wages. how will those ones survive now? how will they feed their families?
what is the government's package for those people? that is the question. what is the president doing at this time to ensure that those people do not die of hunger while staying home.
the regulation says that the ministry will work to ensure... what, in detail will the ministries do the regulation does not detail out
so, you cannot hold the government to any responsibility. just stay home and die, that's all.
china did not lock down the entire country when they were the epicenter of this virus. you cannot lock down the entire country and open up the ports to keep exporting oil. the government is not affected at all in this lockdown but the common man.
the government said they are prepared for this. what is the preparation? does anyone spray disinfectant in your streets?
china, built hospitals in 10 days cos they lacked enough hospitals. Nigerians lack hospitals at this point so why not start building hospitals now seeing that they have failed before?
why not start constructing malls for grocery shoppers now instead of dirty open markets? why not ask landlords to relax on rents and bills for now? why not ask NEPA to relax on bills? how will the non-hobnobs feed while staying home? how will people get their salaries for March? is there any directives to employers? how will the local pharmacies get drugs for other maladies? is "stay home" the preparedness of this government ever since?
there are details that should be implicit in a regulation. India, for example, is to Spend $22.5 Billion to Help Poor Survive Coronavirus. they promised to provide food and sustenance. china made arrangements for shops to supply food supplies to residents in Wuhan communities.
so what is the detail in this regulation?
staying home is not bad but what are the clauses? the government has a duty in response to staying home. lockdown begins with a curfew, not this kinda lockdown. you cannot just lock a country down over 2 deaths. start with a curfew and close up schools and some sectors. there is no way you can achieve this lockdown. even Egypt, the highest hit by the virus is not on this kinda lockdown
some people are just shouting stay home for no reason. after one month of staying home, you will beg to come outside. hunger will push the average man out and at that point, you will know that a hungry man is lethal. y'all prepare for a new wave of criminality.

Idiots at the helm of affairs, anyone wey see opportunity should follow better countries evacuate this evacuation period.

it is just painful. even in this time of utmost urgency these people still gamble with the lives of millions. instead of buhari to build hospitals, he is opening up stadiums and pilgrim camps to store bodies. how can one survive in the camp without light and without a ventilator. why didn't he send Abba kyari to the pilgrim camp? the virus has not got to the point of locking down everywhere.
it is time to gather the youths to a construction camp to build not time to lock able-bodied men in cramped homes without light and food.

I don't mean to say, their lack of being religious led them to this situation. Far from that.

I mean to say that in any critical situation, a moral reflection becomes very essential. In our daily lives, we face challenges and such tough situation should always make us reconcile with God and align ourselves properly.

There are many saints of the Catholic church who have died in times of epidemic like this and such death never meant they were sinners.

But bad situations calls for our moral examination and should make us recognize God in our daily lives.

And yes, Europe has been very stupid in allowing many nonsense into their society all in the name of democracy. Same sex marriage, abortion, pornography, dirty clubbing, government cheating etc.

These are acts that offend God and you never can know His reactions. Even if God did not cause corona, you surely need Him in trying times like this.

I beg you to stop doubting God just for your own good. Has God been stupid religion? Hell NO. Without a school of moral upbringing the world would have been in an enormous crisis. Just think about those who refuse to steal, who refuse to kill, who refuse to do ritual, who refuse to cheat etc. Not for the fear of the law but for the fear of God. Religion may have its own negativity but the positivity surely overpass the negativity.

Think about how religion gave us red cross, human right, education etc. Is it not miraculous that the Vatican city very close to Italy have recorded only 6 cases?

Please accept God in your life.

Shalom

Dear, You are clearly been supercilious.

Who told you i am not a christian.

What i am trying to correct you is to mind the way you use situations like this to mold people into fear-wrecks!
I guess you must be an aspiring pastorpreneur or politician who often utilizes the maxim "every Crisis is a means to an end"

If you want to encourage people to turn to God. There are several ways to do that. Fear stoking aint one. Telling them or infering that it is because of lesbianism or club dancing that Corona came to unleash "Sodom and Gomorah" like punishments on them is clearly opportunistic.

Dont be a Fox.

And part of the reason Vaticn city had less incidences was because (as a separate entity from Italy) it closed its borders way before the stupid ITalian government did so. The Vatican learnt from Wuhan!

I just laughed at your Idiocy and slow-wittedness because you actually one and yet dumb enough not to Identify that you a fool someone is trying to help.

Instead of a foolish person like you to hide your empty brain in shame, you still have the audacity to utter gibberish.

You still don't know Lagos shares no boundary with Oyo state (not knowing you can't get to Oyo without passing through Ogun state). Dullard!! Dullards like you would still call Bubu dullard

I pity the young generation coming from an Idiot like you. There is no way you can teach what you don't have (empty head). You will still go ahead and be telling the Innocent younger ones Lagos shares boundary with Oyo state.

When the head has spoiled already, the body would definitely have nothing to offer.
