Where are our lectures and professors?


Engineers, anaesthetists and surgeons from the University of Oxford and King’s College London are building and testing prototypes that can be manufactured using techniques and tools available in well-equipped university and small and medium enterprise (SME) workshops.

The team, led by Oxford Professors Andrew Farmery, Mark Thompson and Alfonso Castrejon-Pita and King's College London’s Dr Federico Formenti, have been working to define novel mechanisms of operation that will meet the required specifications for safe and reliable function. The design aims to exploit off-the-shelf components and equipment.

The link above shows lectures, engineers, profs, surgeon etc from Oxford university and Kings college London designing and building a cheap ventilator that could easily be manufactured. UK govt has already approved the design. Soon they will start mass producing it. They could produce up to 10 thousand in a week.

Nigerians are fond of bragging with their school, there's even a popular saying, if you nor go my school na lesson you go.

Every year we see Nigeria schools ranking, UI, covenant, oau etc, students of these schools always brag about how good their school is, now it's time to show the world how good their school is but they are no where to be found.

Even the almighty UI cannot come up with a cheap ventilator design, covenant university that wants to be amoung 10 university in the world they cannot assist ncdc in research. All schools in Nigeria are on lock down and our so called lectures are professors are in quarantine.
