Coronavirus is the agent/organism causing the disease while the disease itself is called COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019), so they are different 2 Likes |

Asymptomatic... In medicine, a disease is considered asymptomatic if a patient is a carrier for a disease or infection but experiences no symptoms. A condition might be asymptomatic if it fails to show the noticeable symptoms with which it is usually associated. Asymptomatic infections are also called subclinical infections. Please don't mind the person that said this because not all are correct! 1. QuarantAIN and quaranTEEN are both acceptable pronunciation! QuaranTAIN is supposedly the right British pronunciation!! #Don'tBeGullible 2. You can't blame the misuse of the pronunciation by Nigerians such as "COVIK-19" and so on, when we have an uneducated president who doesn't even know how to spell virus talk more of the meaning!!!! 3. The Coronavirus is an epidemic not a pandemic. Coronavirus is a disease and an epidemic explains a disease while a pandemic talks about being widespread. PLEASE GUYS CHECK THE FACTS OOOO... I KNOW SOME OF YOU KNOW THESE SHA BUT THIS IS FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW! |
