Sorry but the nigerian english pronounciation is just as valid.
If we mostly colloquially pronounce as such then it is fine.

Coronavirus is the agent/organism causing the disease while the disease itself is called COVID-19 (Coronavirus disease 2019), so they are different

Asymptomatic... In medicine, a disease is considered asymptomatic if a patient is a carrier for a disease or infection but experiences no symptoms. A condition might be asymptomatic if it fails to show the noticeable symptoms with which it is usually associated. Asymptomatic infections are also called subclinical infections. Weldone Prof. You have enlightened us on this.
However, let take note!
1. CoronaVirus is the general name and Covid-19 is just a type of CoronaVirus
2. COVID-19 is a newly discovered type CoronaVirus.
3. Other types in existence before now are group into four types:
a. Alpha Cov
b.Beta Cov
c.Gamma Cov
d. Delta Cov
Examples are
MERS-Cov that cause Middle East
Respiratory Syndrome, or MERS
SARS-Cov that causes severe acute respiratory syndrome, or SARS
You can add yours.

Is he a health professional? Shebi FG assembled CDC team to make their findings. According to them, they are producing chloroquine for clinical trials. Besides that what else do you want?

In fact you should go and quaranteen somewhere jor.

Abeg file.

At least I learnt something.

Quarantine is pronounced KWO-RAN-TEEN, not KWO-RAN-TAIN, in both British and American English. In other words, quarantine rhymes with "canteen," not "valentine."
Not so fast. KWO-RAN-TAIN is an alternative pronunciation in British English. Be properly guided.

Please don't mind the person that said this because not all are correct!
1. QuarantAIN and quaranTEEN are both acceptable pronunciation! QuaranTAIN is supposedly the right British pronunciation!! #Don'tBeGullible
2. You can't blame the misuse of the pronunciation by Nigerians such as "COVIK-19" and so on, when we have an uneducated president who doesn't even know how to spell virus talk more of the meaning!!!!
3. The Coronavirus is an epidemic not a pandemic. Coronavirus is a disease and an epidemic explains a disease while a pandemic talks about being widespread.

PLEASE GUYS CHECK THE FACTS OOOO... I KNOW SOME OF YOU KNOW THESE SHA BUT THIS IS FOR THOSE WHO DON'T KNOW!
