About two weeks ago President Trump declared his hope that a “game changer” treatment for the coronavirus was just around the corner that utilized a combination of drugs that have been around for decades.

The far-left media, Democrats, etc., were quick to dismiss the president’s good news as “unproven” and “false hope” even though by then there was already considerable anecdotal evidence to support the claim.

Well, now in Italy where the coronavirus has been especially deadly, the very treatment so many on the far-left rebuked as “false hope” is proving to be a remarkable success.

Sad the thread on the treatment protocol and regimen did not make front page but it is not too late for our federal Government to act fast and produce the recommended drugs to get readily available at a subsidised price at the pharmacies, health centres and general hospital.

We can beat this if we act fast.
