Please I need a candid advice, I saw a naija used Volkswagen passat 2002 4 cylinder, manual transmission for sale , the price is friendly but I want to know about the car, cost of maintenance, how reliable is the car? I am an average income earner. Please those that have used the car can please advice either to buy or not. Thanks!

The 03 golf 4 I tried to acquire almost killed me..
I have decided to leave Volkswagen alone when my friend bought a clean 06 Passat (push to start button with manual gear) for 400k and never enjoyed it for a day.

But there should be master in the Volkswagen field ... Let the users share their experiences.

Lol. I am just constraint with cash balance, I saw the Passat this morning and it was neat and cheaper for the price.

You run away from Honda and Toyota only to be hunting for VW again! I'm afraid you may still end up with either Mitsubishi or Mazda.

Buy the Europe version of Passat.I currently drive a 2008 Passat FSI Europe spec.I have used it for 2 years and 5 months without any issue.below is the best engine vw has ever produced.

Naija used Volkswagen? Run for your life before you start blaming village people.

But their are still decent naija used cars, I can't afford to buy direct tokunbo that's why I am searching for naija used car that will be durable and easy to maintain.

My brother it's the financial constraint that I have that is making me to search for alternative.

Just keep ur money in ur pocket. You will eventually spend up to direct tokunbo and wasting ur time at mechanic shops.
