Sigh.... Are you seriously comparing disease prevalence and mortality between Nigeria and Italy from Feb. 23rd till now??!...

How exactly is that analogy anywhere close to Apt?!

What is wrong with this Obaseki? His speaker brought this virus to Edo state and it has continued to spread yet Obaseki has refused to do anything meaningful about the virus. Everyone is still going about their usual business. Even states with no cases have already declared total lock down. Edo now has 9 cases. We are watching.

As far say neighbouring states dey on a lock down
So there is no cause for alarm

In the U.K., we’d 171 confirmed cases on March 17th, 3weeks later we’re at over 40k cases with over 4k deaths. Nigeria is on same trajectory.

.

See a jump like that means that they started testing widely since testing kits became available. They were testing very little before April, but after they mass produced testing kits, they started testing everyone. It could have been One hundered adn seventy one around december, but no one was testing. It didn't just increase in three weeks, it was testing that increased.

The number of coronavirus cases in Nigeria is more than 1000.

The number of infected people roaming the streets untested are far more than the audio figures released by NCDC

Some of you are just alarmist.

Agreed that the numbers being quoted by the NCDC may be not be accurate but if there are as many cases as yall think....people would have been dying mysteriously all over the place since the virus either kills u or gets killed in your system within 4weeks.

Again...the genetic make up of africans may be more resistant to the virus - same way foreigners die more for malaria than Africans...

Focus on the positive, 27 discharges and about 2% dead. Glory be to God

Which brings me to the question: do they subtract the "discharged" from the number of active cases?

Leadership skills and governance knowhow is the test laid down to assessed electing leaders in countries we want our country to emulate but we are not electing such leaders here

how can a sane human think someone like Buhari can govern Nigeria? even in military regime his deputy was the front line

because of his lack of leadership proactive over 200m people are vulnerable to what it would take nothing to prevent. na thunder go fire Buhari anywhere he is

But he wants to be president at all cost and by force. Only one term would have been okay for him, so that now that Nigeria needs a strong leadership we will have a strategic, Creative and a visionary leader and team in place.

I fear for Nigeria medical personnel with this poo they're performing. Don't you know the remnants of the virus on the discharged ones can still resuscitate to affect other people. In UK there is no total discharge but isolate them still.

That is a LIE. Infact, your whole statement is an absurd lie.
