The National Examination Council (NECO) said it has not postponed the 2020 Basic Education Certificate Examination (BECE) and the Senior School Certificate Examination (SSCE) because of the outbreak of coronavirus. According to the body, NECO 2020 Date still remains intact. The examination body said only the National Common Entrance (NCEE) has been postponed indefinitely because of the COVID -19 pandemic. Its Head of Information and Public Relations, Mr. Azez Sani, made the clarification in a statement, amid reports that the examination body had postponed both examinations. According to the statement, NECO said it has not reviewed any of its remaining Examination Time Tables (BECE) and (SSCE), or is it contemplating such for now.
