It is worthy to note that the purpose of prisons have been overemphasized in some countries especially the developing countries - largely Africa. The building which was supposed to be tidy and clean is by far worst than a deserted building.. Nigerian prisons reek like pit toilets that even the high and mighty feared.

Infact the fear of Nigerian prisons is the beginning of good behavior.
