There are different types of test kits. Drive tru test don’t take much time.

I don't believe Oyo state has the capacity to test 2000k a day. Even Lagos does 100s a day.

Those hailing you will turn on you if the cases skyrocket.
Oyo is close to the virus epicenter, yet Makinde is behaving as if nothing is happening.

No social distancing, no awareness, no strategy.

He is waiting for many cases before he does anything.
A strategy that has proven fatal in many countries already.

Nigeria ramped up capacity to test 1500 daily, but one state wants to do 2000 per day?

I see them using that rapid test kit WHO warned against

Bad strategy....they don't have the resources to cope with confirmed cases.

Better the focus on prevention strategies......and keeping the hungry fed!

Every state should be able to test more than 2k pr day but our politician prefer to politicize everything

Lagos State is a disgrace, with all huge IGR & assistance from federal government during this covid 19 nothing to show for it

Dont blame your governor, even USA don’t have these test kits, the one Makinde is talking about is probably FAKE
Original test kit isn’t that easy to come by,ask developed world they will tell you more

in as much as I know it's not cheap, I still maintain my stand that government failed woefully. tell us how celebrities without symptoms are able to get tested while common man with lots of symptoms can't get tested.

They are asking the same question in USA and developed world in general so it’s not about Nigeria alone, fingers are not equal the elite will always be at the front when it comes to something very important

I hear you but it's still a shame that at this period total number of tested people is not up to 10,000

Mind you, USA government made provision for her citizen & family who has private cars even benefitted but here in Nigeria it's only inaginary beneficiaries that we have

same thing in usa?

as regard testing, go & check your fact right it's not same way they handled it here in Nigeria

Thanks Governor. What a way to go. People have been moving freely in Oyo State like they aren't affected/concerned by what's going on. If we are just starting to test people now and we just start detecting those that'll test positive after all states have put measure in place whether tested or not, what would then be our next line of action?
