I think this is what we need to be doing here aside advertisement
Doing this won’t make all this small small boys be commenting anyhow

You can see how scanty the comment threads are

Had it been it was a subject that says how can I chase the girls off my house
You will see millions of comment

What can one do with this in real life?

Amotolongbo:
n2 = [2S + d-2a]/d
Or

n = [(2S + d-2a)/d] ^0.5
You misfired at line 9.

Where did the denominator n vanish to? It was supposed to have cross multiplied again. Instead you found a way of burning it off like our leaders are now burning administrative buildings.

See me in my office!
Alone!!!

I give it you that it's still the same thing.. The 2 is dividing the n outside

Bros it's totally wrong and unacceptable

This is plain, the 2 was dividing all subjects in the RHS

there's no how it's relating to what you just solved
Re: Can You Solve This Math Question? by lexczy(m): 9:29pm On Apr 15, 2020
dn^2 + (2a-d)n -2s= 0
n = variable
Coefficient of n^2 is d
Coefficient of n is (2a-d)
Constant is -2s

Rubbish post and nonsense maths. Why not use the formulae and answer to solve the economic crises and the rate of unemployment in Nigeria.
Money is the real certificate.

The question is incorrect eventhough, if you decide to proceed with the solution the way it is written one will arrive at this answer you gave here. Thumbs up.

n = [(d-2a)±(4a² - 4ad + d² + 8ds)½] ÷ 2d

I will attempt it.

Can Anyone In This Forum kill This?

s = [n(2a + (n - 1)d]/2

2s = [n(2a + (n - 1)d]

2s = n(2a + nd - d)

2s = 2an + dn² - dn

2s = dn² + (2a - d)n

0 = dn² + (2a - d)n - 2s

Using the quadratic formula

a = d
b = (2a - d)
c = -2s

Therfore

n = (−(2a - d)±√(〖(2a - d)〗^2+8ds))/2d

s = [n(2a + (n - 1)d]/2

2s = [n(2a + (n - 1)d]

2s = n(2a + nd - d)

2s = 2an + dn² - dn

2s = dn² + (2a - d)n

0 = dn² + (2a - d)n - 2s

Using the quadratic formula

Absolutely correct..To those saying the question is wrong, that automatically means you don't even know what this formulae stands for..

Though I made an error in not closing a bracket.
But majority of them just capitalize on it to his their inability to solve it
