Job Description:

The position seeks a competent individual who will be in charge of the creative direction of the company. The individual is expected to define requirements, visualize and create graphics including illustration, flyers, posters, infographics, brochures, formats, product packaging, videos, images and more. It is important that the graphic designs get the attention of the targeted audience with the right message. Therefore, creativity and a strong ability to project content into an appealing design is a necessity.

The Creative Designer needs to understand the organization’s mission and vision to play an instrumental role in achieving them. This role is for an ambitious, creative, and driven individual who is looking to learn and gain great experience. Also, the person will work remotely for 2 days a week but will need to be available on Mondays for weekly virtual meetings.

Duties and Responsibilities:

Create and design various materials for digital and print
Establish creative direction for the company as well as brand guidelines
Conceptualize visuals based on specifications and budget constraints
Illustrate concepts by creating a rough draft and presenting the ideas to team members
Develop illustrations and designs using a wide range of media and software or by hand
Work with a team, discuss and advise them with regards to design style, format, colour, contents, print production, and timeframe.
Oversee changes, retouching, and improvement of designs after feedback
Prepare the final design after approval with high quality and on schedule.
Ensure all designs are virtually appealing with the right content

Required Skills and Competencies:

Experienced graphic designer with a proven track record
A strong portfolio of creative achievements and graphics
Excellent eye for detail
Strong communication and analytic skills
Exceptional organizational and time management skills
The ability to understand trends within the scope of any field they work with
Familiarity with graphic design software and technologies such as InDesign, Illustrator, Dreamweaver, Photoshop, PowerPoint and other Video and Animation tools.
Any relevant certificate in Advertising, Social Media and Marketing is a bonus.
