SAPELE PROTEST LEADER, 17 OTHERS GRANTED BAIL, RETURN TO FAMILIES

The Leader of the COVID19 lockdown protest that rocked Sapele Local Government Area on Wednesday 15th April 2020, Mrs Beauty Ogodo aka Lady US and seventeen others that were arrested and taken to Asaba, have been granted bail.

Mrs Ogodo who lead the viral protest told Rero TV that her aim was to plead for food for the masses to help cushion the effect of the COVID19 lockdown.

Reverend Father Christopher Ekabo of St Patrick's Catholic Church who lead the delegation to Asaba to help free the protesters thanked the Sapele Local Government Chairman Hon Eugene Inoaghan, and everyone that contributed in Making sure that they were all returned safely to their families.
