Sometimes I envy these guys in riverine communities. They enjoy a variety of free fresh meat and not all these beaf, goat meat and pork alone we eat here.

From crocodile to monitor lizard. Big snakes, grasscutters, squirrels, alligators and even fresh fishes.

This will be eaten too?

In few decades to come, Africans will be travelling outside the continent to see animals that once existed in their place.

Wildlife depletion is on a high and definitely not coming with good prospects. Many animals will go extinct on this course.

That is still a juvenile croc.
The guy won’t be able to carry it, if it is really a huge one.

Hello, No animal attacks if you not trespassing. That's not an excuse. It's either you have trespassed or encroached into it's habitat. We encroaching badly into their world and why you will see someone telling you he killed a python or monitor lizard in his house. Do people ever ask where he/she stays. No fumigation or whatever to even keep them at bay. He just wants them to come-in so he can kill and eat them.

That crocodile was definitely in the river or bank before it was hunted down. This animal are also running away from human activities.

What's the count of elephants in Nigeria today? Am certain is less than 200. In few decades time, it will be gone. When last did you see a matured python? Don't tell me those ones on Nairaland, they are snakelets. Tell me the oldest tortoise you have seen in recent time roaming freely,. Have you seen panther of recent! No! This animal you are losing without realizing. The Nigerian rain forest and Savannah's are almost empty.

You not observing how you depleting your environment.

Singapore, Philippine and Indonesia that have wild animals how is their economy is better than Canada, America and uk?

Keeping wild animals is not our culture in Africa. And There's no advantage this wild animals have for humanity.

I understand what the staph guy is trying to say but I doubt he/she has first hand experience of rural life settings. You have to educate them first and also provide a stable food source for them in order to attain that level of environment intelligence you want. Only the city bred Nigerians would frown at bushmeat because they have other alternatives. In the village, all these are considered gifts of nature. Man must wack

Glad you mentioned this countries. Do you know how much this countries generate from tourism? Can you compare with Nigeria.

Let me tell you the history you don't know about Africa. Our culture preserved animals. Younger animals are not killed for food.

And why are you sounding like you have not heard of the food chain. Saying the animals have no use to humans is apex of it all.
