[quote author=GHJOE post=96361199]Good day my people,

I’m about to put in for my visa application..

Please will you advice I apply together with my family or I should apply alone as I’m still yet to get address that covers family for the visa application..

Though the money in my account covers for 3 of us...

The issue now is just accommodation...

Pls i need help
Thanks.. [/quotdo

Does ur school accommodation has provision for family? If yes, put University accommodation.

But if NO, look for anybody address to use and do ur Visa once and for all to avoid stress of applyin separate for dependants. Or book rnb accomodation 15days payment on arrival

Hello gurus in the house... I just noticed I can't transfer money from my GTB acct to my paga wallet.
I'm so afraid to connect my card. I want to connect my acct but paga is saying my acct is not debit able.
Which bank did u use to fund ur paga wallet.

Thank you

I used GTBank but I had to transfer the funds to my Paga wallet like you would do to any other bank account. Just choose Paga as the beneficiary bank and use your Paga account number as the beneficiary's account number. Your registered account name with Paga should pop up.

Please how was your deposit paid. The school only allows bank payments through western union which is not available in Nigeria i guess. The other option is card payment
UBA does western union.

Okay, thanks alot
Joshua62:

I didn't pick any appointment date online. I went to the TB test center on a fateful day, we all sat outside and announcement was made by the security that those for UK student visa should come and write down their names. I wrote my name down and was later called in for the test. Although i had already paid the test fee.

You can also give it a shot.

Is Birmingham City University like this? They don’t reply to admission inquiry. I applied for admission since 29th Oct and I heard it takes them 3wks to process admission. Is there anyone that also experienced this long delay in getting admission from them?

Never mind explaining gaps, Uncle Boris wants your cash for the UK university system. Satisfy all the requirements and you're 90% of the way there.

Got offer from UWS 2 weeks ago,it took just 8 days to receive offer.
I also got a mail on Friday informing me their will delays due to the fact that they are working from home since last week.
You can get in touch with their country rep, he was of great help, he is on ground at the school presently,so he can help speed things. Reach him at austin.ogogo@uws.ac.uk

I would advice you apply to GCU or Edinburgh (as I observed that the both schools you applied to are in Scotland) because West Scotland delayed my Application for 2 months & 3weeks, later asked that I send a copy of a refusal (letter) I disclosed & finally gave a rejection 1 month & 1 week later, was happy I started applying early enough & already had 2 Admissions offer by then, I can't speak for the latter you made inquires on though. All the best....

Please what does this means? Cos I applied for 3 different courses and I just got this message from one of them

Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics: 10:03pm On Nov 23, 2020
You have an admission offer which is based in fulfilling the listed conditions.

1. Your degree certificate showing that you obtained a 2.1 degree.
2. IELTS or equivalent.
3. Pay a deposit of £2,000 or provide evidence of a scholarship you have towards your tuition.

You need to accept or reject it; if you accept it, you'll need to fulfil the conditions attached to the offer before it unconditional.

Good day house. Thank you for all the insight and info given. This forum is really wonderful. I have a few questions pls:

1. Can I apply for visa at the same time with my spouse and 2 kids or will the chances for my family be better after I've gotten my own visa?

2. Must I write IELTS for admission or even visa? How else can I show English requirements.

3. Can we apply for visa in December or January for September program start date?

4. What is the UK govt website to get all the info for applying for the study visa.

I'm new here and we want to apply without the use of any agents.

Pls gurus in the house, I need your replies. Thanks
Re: Uk Student Visa/tier 4 Pbs - Your Questions Answered Part 4 by mimilyrics: 10:12pm On Nov 23, 2020
1. Yes, you can but if you have any reason why you think your visa application might be complicated, you can apply 1st before your family.
Also, if you would like to sort things in the UK before your family joins you, applying alone would be your best bet.
If you want to make the move with your family and don't mind going through the initial stress of settling down together, then by all means, apply together.
The choice of applying together or alone is basically down to your preferences.

Just ensure that, whatever option you choose, you tick all the boxes, declare all the declarables and submit your documents in line with the prescribed UKVI requirements.

2. No. Some schools accept WAEC English result while others will accept a letter from your last institution stating that your course was fully taught in English. Some schools accept only IELTS though.

3. No, you can only apply at most 6 months before your course start date but you won't be able to travel to the UK more than a month before your course starts.

I don't see that as an issue as long as your school accepted it. Your resumption on campus has no impact on your WAEC.

When did you write your WAEC? Are you talking about what you've been up to since you wrote your WAEC? That's me assuming that you wrote it a long time ago.

I'm trying to see what gap you're worried about. Kindly break it down so that we understand what you mean and advice appropriately.
