I want to venture into graphic design so I plan on getting a new laptop.
I have a budget of 100K and I've been wondering if a laptop with intel celeron processor can run corel draw and adobe illustrator smoothly.
I need all the help and suggestions I can possibly get.

It would but not that smoothly as compared to i3,i5 & i7.

For graphic I would recommend core processor from corei3 - intel corei5 with atleast 4GB-6GB RAM and 320GB- 500GB Harddrive, you might want to venture into more graphics software in the future.. Intel celeron processor are usually for typing, simple application or movies.

I'll get a better system as time goes on.
I just need something I can use for a start.

You can UK with no fault used core i7 8GB RAM 500HD for 90K as of January, 100K should get the core i5 i mention now in April.

Buy a core processor, better RAM and good HD now to avoid unnecessary spending, 100k will get you a good one.

Make sure the cpu is above 1.3G, and ram is 4gb

If only you are limited on cash, if not, get at least a Pentium 4 or icore 3 laptop
