The governors will regret their collective one-size-fits all approach, in my opinion. Sanwo-Olu shouldn't be in the same Covid-19 meeting with Yahaya Bello or other states with zero or few cases.

Hmmm

Are we truly ready for this?

We are actually not ready and have never been ready for anything in this country.

The only reason to lockdown is to contain the spread and identify and treat identified cases. But we only locked people down in hunger and are not testing to identify cases.

Can you believe that in south-south and southeast, they have only one testing centre at Irua in Edo State? What then is the reason for the lockdown?

Coronavirus in Nigeria is over 20 million but because we are not testing enough, we don't know. A country of over 200 million has locked down for about a month and has tested less than 0.1 percent (a little over 100,000). Is that not a joke?

Don't be deceived! Those states have more coronavirus cases but they don't know because they are not testing.

Really,
I understand your concerns.

But have you taken time to consider if the lock down could have been responsible for the slight mitigation( reduced number of cases which could have been higher without it)?

You can't completely knock out the importance of lockdown when Nigerians have not wholeheartedly followed the guidelines in the first place.

I actually maintain that the people should be let to fend for themselves if the government wouldn't provide for their livelihoods though.
But that doesn't change the fact that it is a costly step.

Slight mitigation.. undecided

No proof of the above hypothesis.. It's a mere assumption.. undecided
