Many escaped death in a multiple crash involving four vehicles in Benin City on Tuesday, April 28, 2020.

Global Times learnt that the accident occurred on the ever-busy Upper Mission Road in the state capital.

The vehicles included a 18 seater passenger bus, a red car, an ash car and a truck fully loaded with 7up soda drink.

According to report, the accident occurred as the drivers were trying to beat the 7pm curfew imposed by the state government.

Recall that on April 19, Governor Godwin Obaseki imposed a 10-day dusk-to-dawn curfew on Edo, with effect from April 20.

This was in a bid to curtail the spread of the deadly coronavirus as he planned to increase screening and testing of citizens for the COVID-19 pandemic.

The curfew is expected to be reviewed tomorrow as the initial 10-day lapses.

As at time of this report, no death was recorded at the scene of the incident as individuals involved were rushed to a nearby hospital.

With the exception of protests in a few places other countries implemented the lockdown policy without incident.
But in Nigeria:
1. Multiple accidents because nobody wants to be late for curfew.
2. Government will dash states spoilt food and states will do back to sender.
3. Almajiri will be used to play table tennis.
4. Police and army will brutalize citizens.
5. Criminals will write letter that they want to come and steal.
3. Pastors will ask permission to heal patients.
4. Pastors will climb lonely mountain with video crew.
5. States will do verbal autopsy which also means "audio".
6. Government will beg Elon Musk for ventilators and buy new cars the next day.
7. President will give "live" broadcast but the speech is already out before the broadcast has started.

This country is a perfect example of How Not To Fight Covid19.

wawu

Maintain Speed limit on inner city highway, and keep distance of few feet from the next car, and all this wont happen.. unfortunately drivers in Nigeria are mostly driving school drop outs
