According to the governor, Lagos was prepared to curb the spread of COVID-19 but had to wait for the Federal Government to shut airport, seaport and land borders.

Nigeria had every chance not to have a single case from this virus, but the carelessness of the FG has brought us to this situation.

It is really a shame that not even one person could advice the dunce of a president early on to shut the borders, seaport and airport when we were still having only one case which was from that Italian.

Late or early closure, the thing go still enter naija, no be all countries don get their own quota?
The virus is more control than prevention, except we wanna shut the nation against citizens too which is highly unlikely.
Our interstate borders have no clear demarcation, so people can even still find a way to move to other states.

What then is the job of the federal government? That the FG is useless does not mean powers meant for them should be removed.

Bros, keep quiet. You keep saying Sanwo Olu was wrong for stating the fact when we all knew it was the late border closure that exacerbated the Covid-19 in Nigeria. Even if we had minor border breaches, it would be less and slower than this and to control it would be relatively easy.

All the Covid-19 cases in Nigeria are traceable to those who came in within late February- early March, mostly from Europe. That's ineptitude on the part of the FG... Do the maths, since you know better than the governor and his team of professionals.

Blame Buhari for waiting for his daughter to get back before closing the airports.

By the way I was saying that not closing the airport on time would bite us in the ass yet some APC zombies were arguing with me as if we have already won the battle.

You see yourselves now? Even the governor knows you were saying trash. grin

Who be your Bros?

Corona can even come in through border town to adjoining countries so all the blame is useless.

Lagos State Governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, has said the delayed closure of the country’s borders, seaport, and airports, including the failure of returnees to self-isolate, caused the spread of COVID-19.

TheGoodJoe:
Which kind of madness is this? Self-quarantine?

We should have a Quarantine centre for all those coming in from China, and treat them as if they are infected through hydration until after 14days.

The ministry of health should not allow people take matters into their hands when it concerns this.

This was my comment January, 30, 2020.

This man is still talking about self-isolation when it was proven that people without symptoms can spread the disease.

Left to me, Sanwo-Olu should resign and step down for the mess his team created in the country.

Admit you and your people were wrong believing we could beat the disease with self-isolation.

Sanwolu grow some balls and lockdown Lagos for another month, heaven will not fall, El-rufai has locked down for another 30 days, if you need more time that's why you are an executive governor. If things escalate more than this, no one will listen to your excuses o
