It is heart renting and sickening to find Nigeria in this devastating state. To start with, this is not a time to play politics, religious e-war, tribal sentiments and or preposterous jokes.

With the astronomical rise in the covid19 cases in Nigeria, does it still make any sense in opening the economy?

I think we need to air our view as Nigerians when things aren’t going well in the country. This pandemic bedeviling our country would have been avoided if the borders are shut on time. Well, it has happened. What’s the way forward?

For me, there is one sole solution in sight pending a cure and vaccine. The SOLUTION is an effective lockdown. How can it be effective?

1)Pay palliatives to Nigerians without politicizing it. Through the major banks Nigerians use, pay them the palliatives.

2) Government through big organizations in Nigeria should partner in assuaging the pains of the rank and file of Nigeria. Eg. Telecommunications (MTN, Glo etc) should give free subscriptions, DSTV, PHCN, LAWMA, etc

3) Implement a 2 full lockdown while the police should be properly sensitized. No bribe on the road; No intimidation; etc

4) Limiting the total number of pass and and control. Eg. 7 persons move around with a rented nurse or someone with pass just get involved in frivolities.

5) Lagos and other states must go around within these 2 weeks to ensure people comply and also sensitive the populace who still see this as a Hoax.

God will help us! No cure or vaccine but the only one available is DISCIPLINE- palliatives with effective 2 weeks lockdown.

God save us.

Should they lift this lockdown? Are we ripe for it?

It's not right to lift the lockdown , the problem is that most of us eat from hand to mouth , that makes it difficult . Besides no cash assistance from fG at least to a good number of people ,

So we have to lift and be careful , u can't lockdown hungry people , it will cause calamity and more deaths indirectly !

God will help us as move out on Monday

It is because some of us live from hand to mouth that makes this difficult. However, it’s a matter of choosing a necessary evil out of unfavorable options.
