This thread is of no value in my views
What is it out to achieve? Is it needed for political appointment?

This is not far from the truth. All the optometrists I know today are ibos. Well most of the schools for optometry are in the SE.

Make una leave Igbos alone oo

Before Nigeria commence their bring them down campaign.

Optometrists: This is individual success and merit, not government quota.

I hope they will not bring laws that will adversely affect them , this present APC goverment is satanic in approach to everything

Except uniben I think, It is only eastern universities that offer that course.

You need not be told how homogenous eastern universities are.
UNN is definitely not in that list.

The day I saw the year book for UNN graduates in 2018 for most departments, I was shocked.
A lot of myths is been peddled on nairaland.

Yoruba students dominate the student ratio in most UNN departments in nearly 3:1, it was disgraceful.

Even the SUG or Education faculty president was Yoruba.

Optometry isn't widely studied. UI doesn't even offer optometry

How? when I am Igbo? All these chest beating on Nairaland is becoming too much. It achieves nothing apart from stirring tribal conflicts here. We should be discussing Serious issues and not tribal superiority.
