Are we really ready for this daily rising figures?
..and I also hope this relaxation of lockdown won't spell doom.

God help us.

Thank God we are beginning to get more results from Kano, at least the governor and his babu corona crew now know that there is corona and it is not a thing to joke with or try to cover up.

Next state I fear for is kogi, with it's proximity to Abuja, and the refusal of the governor to step up both containment and preventive measures coupled with his constant denial that there's is no corona in the state. God help him.

As at today, we have only one functional COVID-19 sample collection testing center in kano, and increase in the daily cases is getting alarming.

What if the centers is increased to 15 like what we have in Lagos?

1k plus in lagos
and they want to relax Lockdown.
If I may ask... what was the reason for the Lockdown in the first place.

when the total number of confirmed cases was about 200 you called for Lockdown, now the confirmed cases are above 2,000, and you want to relax Lockdown .

let's watch and see how things will unfold

I don't trust these figures again...

Either they're just chunning out numbers or accountability issue. The other day they held a girl that didn't have corona for over 14 days in delta and no test results was shown .. nothing

Getting serious gradually

I wonder why US is still having over 33000 new cases and over 1800 desth reported just for within 24 hours despite the lockdown and strict compliance

UK with over 6000 new cases and over 700 death within 24 hours and they are still anticipating for EPL resumption ?

Italy with absolute lockdown since January still battling with over 1900 new cases and 269 death despite the strict adherence with the lockdown policy

How would Nigeria survive this as we are at the verge of lifting the lockdown as a result of pressure f4om the hunger people ?

We are all going to see the result but just hoping it won't be too late for us to make amendment

Hoping for the best but let get prepared for the worst

This is the real definition of dilemma! Now we have to choose between coronavirus and hunger.
Re: Nigeria Records 238 New Cases Of Covid 19. by stainchris(m): 12:33am On May 02, 2020
We should be more concerned about Lagos that is more densely populated with poor transportation and road network, small land mass and a highly polluted environment.
Majority of their busses has a permanent preacher or drug/commodity seller shouting and praising their wares/hymns.
By this time next week ehn, the world go gather for Lagos donating 1 or 2 doctors and nurses.
We are here screaming Kano and Ganduje up and down forgetting that Lagos has 3times covid 19 cases compared to what Kano has, forgetting that Kano is so "dear" to the presidency.
Re: Nigeria Records 238 New Cases Of Covid 19. by MrBachelor: 12:33am On May 02, 2020
And Ganduje is asking FG to ease the lock-down in Kano.

It is just so unfortunate that Kano State has a man as useless, unintelligent and stupid as Ganduje running its affairs when it has the likes of Sanusi, an intelligent and enlightened man.

How did we reach here?
As of April 02 we only had 184 cases and 2 deaths sad

It always pains me that we could have never gotten here if only we had acted fast when we had the time.

As of March 02, only the Italian man was on our lips. cry
