We need our immune system to be firing on all cylinders in a period like this... So doing away with fruits might not be in our best interest. Just adhere to strict hygiene and treat all food items like a potential CoronaVirus carrier. Wash with either hot water or soup and water depending on the food. God will see us through

It is not only Kano or Lagos that is capable of causing more harm to the entire country, for example even Bayelsa state that is smallest in population and located in the extreme end of the south can be a threat to the entire nation, because if the pandemic reaches to the point that no one really knows the exact number of people that contracted the disease, then the disease can spread to no one knows through visitors that move in and out the state.

All that is required of us now, is to be extra careful and maintain a hygienic daily routine.

can this union called Nigeria be over enough of the tribal and ethnic hate when Lagos had the virus did they say no state is safe because they were hit NO the state stood up for itself and put measures in place in combating the virus. but because the north has and is always envious of the south west and eastern parts progress in managing the virus they throw shades. its not our fault that you people are predominantly illiterates and the only thin you are know for is political manipulation looting terrorism and rearing of cows. get a grip of yourselves and aim for development and growth like other states

I want to believe almost the same time Lagos and Kano get their first index case because of international flights, but one is serious while the other believe it's a natural occurrence. By the time they are seriously hit, they will know that this is not a political or religious race. Even Lagos started total lock down before federal government but up until now ,the dollar man still not know what to do.- to ease the lock down or enforce it.Tell me if it won't go out of hand later. Later all man will be for him her self in this country. Wishing those innocent ones there best of luck o.

If kano is not safe, the whole northern states will not be safe, including Lagos,

You know why?

Because they will dance to the tone of party leaders.

Aircrafts are flying in and out, so how will it be possible they will be firm to shut down border's.

A state of emergency should be declared in kano asap. The military needs to take over that state and ensure everyone is indoors for at least 3 weeks.

I don't know why you lockdown advocates can't think ahead. This virus is not going away anytime soon. If you like lockdown for one year I bet the virus will still be around. These lockdowns are just useless and wouldn't prevent the virus from spreading out later.

China is one of the few places where a lockdown will work to a good extent because they have what it takes to implement it very effectively. The rest are just engaging in a futile lockdown.

This is the obvious FACT.......We all know the ban on inter state travel is a just on paper coupled with the fact that majority of our food items comes from the north.....The earlier the govt declares a state of emergency in Kano the better for the country.
