In 1914, Lord Lugard amalgamated 2 regions (not 3). Fast-forward to 1940, the 2 regions have been split to 3 because of shallowness of our southern leaders. By 1964, the south has split further to 3 regions, making the north stronger and more powerful.

All these happened because of Igbo Vs yoruba rivalry. But why the rivalry?
