Contrary to claims by embattled Speaker of the Lagos State House of Assembly, Mudashiru Obasa, on the floor of the House accusing SaharaReporters of fake news and alleged that the N17m cleaning services monthly allocation was misreported by the news medium, SaharaReporters is in possession of exclusive documents contravening the claim of the lawmakers.

According the officers, the Speaker met a monthly allocation of N27m for running cost and reduced it to N17m in 2015 as a mark of his prudence.
