"I'm just wondering if it was President Jonathan that was in power,and COVID 19 happened,and we have recorded over 1000 cases and 35 death,and he kept quiet and started sharing money in Bayelsa,Rivers and Delta State,I'm very sure by now, the Nigerian media houses would have torn him to pieces. Some people would have gone to occupy Gani park, Nigerian town criers: the Yorubas, would have taken it upon themselves to ask the national assembly to impeach him for incompetence and sloppy and also asked him to relocate to the COVID 19 testing centre,the North would have gone to America telling them Coronavirus was introduced by him to wipe out the north considering the alarming death rate that is going on in Kano. "Prof. Soyinka would have gone back to writing books, abusing Patience Jonathan, some misguided elements in the Niger Delta like Amaechi would have joined forces with enemies of Jonathan to ensure he is pushed out of power, Mbaka would have told us that Jonathan is the Cause of COVID19,some elements that call themselves 'save Nigeria group' would have been jumping up and down fighting him,But today, everywhere is silent we all are maintaining social distance social quietness,sealed lips,murmuring in their bedroom and blaming nature. For me, Jonathan's govt would have been more proactive with issues of closing down our international airports, which was the source of the first index case from Italy. But I know it will be worst in the north, because as a Christian president, they will play politics with it and not obey directives just to make sure the discredit the govt. See what Buhari their god is going through in trying to curtail the spread in the north. |

No Era does it better.......No Administration does it any better.... They are all the same set of unserious Old elements parading themselves as leaders..... Jonathan has Nothing to offer, Neither has Buhari or any other prospective leader... We only elect them, when they assume office they Loot their share as much as they can and leave the office for the next looter...... Nigeria is way too Complicated for a Real Nigerian to successfully Govern....... |
