Hives is a deadly ailment called (Narun) in Yoruba Language, it causes blindness, blurring vision, barrenness among woman and infertility among men too. It's usually composed of reddish itchy on a fair complexion people while blacky itchy on a dark people, itchy weals or swellings in the skin. It is sometimes referred to as nettle rash as it is similar to the sting resulting from contact with nettles.
Hives come in different sizes and shapes, and can appear anywhere on the body in both adults and children.
While it can be extremely itchy and uncomfortable and uncontrollable itching a times.

Any of the following may trigger symptoms:

1) A particular kind of food that causes an allergy. Eggs, nuts, strawberries and seafood are some of the common culprits.

2) Physical stimuli, such as feeling cold or warm, sunlight, water, sweating or pressure.

3) Substances, such as perfumes, preservatives, colourings, nickel or tar.

4) Medicines, most commonly, non-steroidal anti-inflammatory drugs (NSAIDs), antibiotics, and ACE-inhibitors.

5) Contact with plants, such as stinging nettles and contact with animals or creatures, such as stinging jellyfish too.

6) Insect bites and Infections, which may be caused by viruses, parasites or bacteria.

The two (2) forms of which it comes is Hives (Narun) and Acute Hives (Ako Narun) where Acute Hives when fully developed and matured leads to (Blood Disease)
