These guys are just shouting or maybe the report is false, cos I know someone among them that said the life they're enjoying there is so great, they're in a nice hotel in Victoria Island.

They are eating nice food and all, she even said she doesn't expect Nigeria govt to treat them that nice
Those people are probably rich amd pay through their noses to get that treatment

Two weeks quarantine requirement is just to wait to see if the infected will start having symptoms. Unfortunately, many are asymptomatic, and never show signs of the disease throughout infection period.

The best thing to do is to repeat the test after a few days, 3-5 days, anyone infected will test positive to PCR test, whether symptomatic or asymptomatic. This should be standard. UK's isolation time is even one week.

We in Nigeria copy and do dumb things.
They will all be tested again after two weeks.

I don't know why they were in a hurry to return back to Nigeria, those complaining would have remained where they were and enjoy natural air and freedom of movement.

They better be thankful that the federal government acted by rescuing them.

Do you think the soldier on guard don't like freedom to stay at their various home with their famlies? You guy better be quiet and enjoy your two weeks holiday/isolation.

What are you saying bro?
It's right because that's the right thing to do.
If your family members come from outside the country at this time, would you roll a red carpet, hug and start throwing parties?
Even a parent in Ekiti rejected their son who came all the way from Lagos.

There are two planned tests to be conducted on them, according to health minister. First on their arrival, second test will be conducted on 13th day. Thereafter, they will be discharged anyone that tests negative
Re: Nigerians Evacuated From Dubai Protest, Say They Are Treated Like Prisoners by jamesbridget13(f): 6:40am On May 10, 2020
They should sit there for all we care. After two weeks if they are negative then they are free to go home. Do they expect them to be allowed to mingle as though they are are BBA house?

Who are they that govt officials must visit them?
As for the food, just keep managing it, may be that's what the govt could afford. It's counting already by next week you will be free that's if u test negative

They're complaining as if they just discovered a country called Nigeria. Abeg Nigeria get so much to care for, you lots should just manage what ever service they offered to you, stay out your 11 remaining days and leave the hotel for others.

This is not out of the norm, there is a 2 week strict quarantine period for new arrivals whether you tested positive or not, due to a 2 week incubation period the Covid-19 has.

After 2 weeks the strict restriction should be lifted according to protocol. It’s tough but I don’t think the govt is being harsh intentionally. Just my opinion anyway.
your opinion is a right one. We made the first mistake of allowing returnees to go self-isolate in their homes, reason why we are witnessing surge in the number of cases. The discomfort is just for 14 days and they should bear with us till then. I pray the security guys guarding them remain vigilant monitoring them and may they not collect bribes to allow them leave before the 14 days.

This is one thing about Nigerians. It was stated earlier that they are all negative, but they will be isolated for 14days in compliance with NCDC. If the were in Dubai or other foreign countries u won't see them making this useless noise.

Ta! Sharap! Were you not the people crying that FG should rescue you? So you expect 5 star treatment and release into Nigeria so you can bring as much death with you! They are saying they are being treated as if they have Covid. The people who brought Covid into Nigeria came from where? Just be grateful that you are not homeless in UK. Wait out your 14days and if you are clear you go home. Silly people.

Thank you. Like I said Nigerians don't follow simple instructions, we are very indiciplinced and irresponsible. 14days mandatory quarantine they can observe. This is what other countries are doing without complain to safe guard everyone.

China, us, UK all do follow same protocol.

Smtmes I wonder if we don't deserve the stupid govt we get.

Don't mind these people. They obey the laws of Dubai but when they come home they refuse to obey local laws.
They should quarantine them for 1 month.

They were the ones begging to be brought back home n now complaining, very ungrateful set of people

To buttress your point, these guys were made to understand the fact that they will be isolated for 2 weeks,I wonder how someone in isolation still wants to be wandering around within the premises. It obvious they didn't get the clear picture.

Nigeria is a zoo they say. So people can beg Federal Government of Zoo for evacuation from Dubai?
Now you need VIP treatment, your country of residence failed you.
Your home is your, patriotism is one of our biggest problem and the reason we are not getting good leaders.
