Enugu COVID-19 lockdown:

Governor Ifeanyi Ugwuanyi at Enugu-Ebonyi boundary, in continuation of his monitoring of compliance with the state government's closure of all land boundaries and inter-state transportation as well as the Presidential directive on nationwide curfew, to contain the spread of Coronavirus Disease (COVID-19).

Truth be told ..the law enforcement agencies are making mockery of this process. Interstate borders are still very porous....they are busy making money.

They will do eye service when the governor is at the border..including PHC borders...and after the governor have left... business resumes.

I have been driving through Southwest states (I am an essential worker, I have permit) ...the situation is the same. People pay their way through the boarders.

This is evident of a failed Governor. underperforming Governors doing the useless border work. how long is he going to stay there? 5minutes maybe 10minutes and the police would take over and let everyone that has N4000 to pass. bunch of useless people parading themselves as Governors

If the security operatives are doing their job well the governor will not have been bothered. Security operatives failed woefully in this pandemic.

May be the Governors don't have full confidence on our security again for monitoring their respective state boundaries.

I disagree with you. Governor is the chief security of the state. Monitoring state boundaries this period is their main responsibility especially now the north distributing Almajiris .

And they are still complaining that with the lockdown, cases are still increasing. Let they were really on lockdown, even if wike style is extreme, that what most Nigerians need. They are too stubborn.
