I am an Indonesian Blogger...
I'd like to share my experience using SHORTE.ST to shrink download URL...
I use SHORTE.ST because many Indonesia bloggers use SHORTE.ST too!!

Shortly, SHORTE.ST is really SCAM !!
They won't pay you event for $5...
It's not a big amount of money, but my effort is not that easy to collect those cents...

I have set up Paypal email and filled required fields in Setting page for receiving my earnings...
I waited up to 10th March for email notification from SHORTE.ST.
But nothing happened, so I contacted the support for asking the problem... I waited for almost 1 week to receive the response.. Their answer that Paypal payment having technical difficulties...
Pop up message appear in SHORTE.ST withdrawal page that Paypal technical difficulties will delay the payment up to 30th April..
I waited again... After 30th April passed, there's still nothing happened !!
No email, no notification, no payment !!

But what? There's still no payment from SHORTE.ST to my WM Purse...
Damn that makes sense !! SHORTE.ST is really SCAM, NOT PAYING their partners...

COVID-19 is responsible for the delay. Giant corporations around the world are not as responsive as they used to be and most are downsizing to keep floating.

The money was only $5 and you could have just waited. Even if they wanted to scam you, it won't be over $5.

There're so many scammers on the web...

The truth here is that;

Most of this scam site tend to proof that they are willing to pay their customers.

Sometimes they make you believe that, the payment is real.

They do this by creating a testimonial page section in their site.

You will see various testimonies of how customers receive their payment.

But the truth is that;

The group of people that create the scam site are the same people writing this testimonies.

When readers look at this testimonies, they will believe it is real.

Whereas it is a scam.

To find out if most of this site are scam;

First use the WhoIs to find out if the site is registered.

And also find out how long will it take for the webhost and domain to expire.

Another one is find out if they have any product to sell.

Or if they are have an advertising services or they are agency.

If they have all that;

Then it means they are not scam because;

It is through there they will to pay their customers.

But if they have no product or service to sell, then there is nothing to pay.

So what means is that;

You are now the one helping them to make money.

That is all I know.
