Thank you for dishing some hometraining to the bluefilm guy.

Naptu2 is someone I greatly respect on this forum. I asked questions about Dodan Barracks once and he put me through.

And as you rightly said, in 1985, Naptu2 was up and running... despite my long career as a professional assassin, I was still a suckling.

You don't troll guys like that even in jest.
You are welcome Chief. Some people just display crass ignorance on this forum. The least he could do is not watch the video. Jobless somebody

Does anybody know the name of the tune that was playing at the 3:29 minute mark in this video (when Seyni Kountche was inspecting the troops)? I've been searching for the name of that song for a very long time.

I'm referring to the Hausa song, not Syncro System.
Of all.people you're asking these Indomie Generations?

Re - read the post and check the photograph in black and white background

If you are referring to the photo in black and white background then clearly it is both of you that need to re-read the post. It is always important to read the post, not just the headline in order to understand what is in it.

The headline of this thread reads:
General Buhari And Ibrahim Gambari In 1984 (Video)

In order words, it is a video of General Buhari and Professor Gambari. How can a picture be a video??

I then quoted one of my old posts in which I discuss some of the personalities in the video. There are 3 pictures that were attached to that post and each of them has it's on caption. The captions are:

Picture 1) Alhaji Rilwanu Lukman.

Picture 2) Professor Ibrahim Gambari

Picture 3) Professor Gambari and General Joe Garba c1990 (Nigeria was a member of the Security Council at that time and General Garba was president of the UN General Assembly).

The caption clearly states that the third picture is a picture of Professor Gambari and General Joseph Nanven Garba at the UN, so how on God's green earth can you expect General Garba to magically become General Buhari??

This is why it's important to actually read the post, not just the headline!

Go back and read the post.

Uncle Naptu, if you don't know the name of the tune, I don't think anyone else can know it. You are our last source of authentic Nigerian historical knowledge Sir.

I don't understand the language spoken in the video, but I still find the history fascinating. Hopefully there are better men serving Nigeria than some in the US congress. In the US, whenever we have people that serve in our government for many years, they seem to forget that they are supposed to work for the people, not rule over the people. The longer they serve in our government, the more they forget who they represent, and the more they get out of touch with the everyday citizen. In my opinion, people should not be allowed to remain in government service for too many years. I truly hope Nigeria is on a path that improves life in Nigeria for the everyday citizen.

So?

Careless, wicked and reckless generation.

Got hold of power at early thirties - young and energetic. Something that should have been beneficial and advantageous. Yet, their generation MADE MESS OF EVERYTHING!
And now we are here.

90% All Nigerian leaders dead and alive between the age of 55 to 90 years ARE ALL FAILED GENERATION!
Epic failures and corrupt to boot.
