If you don't have a structure, you still can't keep a part.

A lot of people who read the book still don't have the discipline to keep some parts — there are too many important things for them to spend money on and before you know it, they continue living their lives without paying themselves first.

With structure, as the one I explained above, people will naturally become disciplined to distribute their money to all the accounts and spend wisely.

Update

You know, at times, it's good to show practical.

The minimum for this MM (money management) technique is 10k.

Whenever you receive money from 10k and above, share it. I know there is this urge in you to use it and settle this and that or buy this and that, but please, keep those things on hold and share it.

If the money is below 10,000, let's say it's 9,500, the look for 500 to add to it and share. If you can't find 500, then put all the 9,500 in your Necessity Account and use it judiciously.

Tip: Be disciplined and strict with this. Obey it even more than you obey the 10 commandments.

Coming from a poverty-stricken country makes this kind of thing hard for most because we live from hand-to-mouth. But, if you can say no to this hand-to-mouth lifestyle for once, your life will change and you'll be ahead of your fellow countrymen and women.

So, I emptied my Wayward Account and send 10k to it — the extra 1k is miscellaneous for all the small charges that gets deducted during transfer.

From this 10k

1. 1000 Naira (10% of 10k) gets sent to Till Death Do Us Path Account

2. 2000 Naira (20% of 10k) gets sent to Invest Me Account

3. 2000 Naira (20% of 10k) gets sent to Necessity Account

4. 500 Naira (5% of 10k) gets sent to Self-improvement Account

5. 1000 Naira (10% of 10k) gets sent to Charity/Tithe Account

6. 500 Naira (5% of 10k) gets sent to Health Emergency Account

7. 1000 Naira (10% of 10k) remains in your Wayward Account — the one you're using to transfer money to other accounts

8. 500 Naira (5% of 10k) gets sent to Augmenter Account

9. 1000 Naira (10% of 10k) gets sent to Relative Account

10. 500 Naira (5% of 10k) gets sent to Small "Invest Me" Account

1. 1000 +
2. 2000 +
3. 2000 +
4. 500 +
5. 1000 +
6. 500 +
7. 1000 +
8. 500 +
9. 1000 +
10. 500

Total = 10,000.

Now, transfer what is left to the Augmenter Account the second time while keeping 10% share of the Wayward Account.

After you've done this, it's time to spend wisely based on where what you want to spend on falls in.

If you're one of those that spend on impulse and on frivolous things, your brain will be reset to factory default.

You can open an account with some of these banks online with your BVN and other details. It doesn't get easier than this.

Don't get a MasterCard for all of of them, except for 2 or 3 of them.

Though, activate Internet banking for all of them and your token will be sent via email whenever you're doing a transaction.

With this, you'll be organized. In fact, you're not even managing any bank account — the banks are doing the managing while you do the money transfer whenever you get 10k or above.

Let me ask you a question. If you're employed in a company and your job is to be the one paying 500 other workers, will you decline the job?
