We the Rivers Youth Movement frowns with total dismay following the disobedience of the NCDC guidelines on gathering and social distancing by Gov Wike and PDP Excos in Rivers state.

It should be noted that Gov wike who have been so brutal to Rivers people all in the name of fighting the COVID-19 and protecting Rivers people will float it's own Executive orders.

We want Nigerians to know that Gov Wike is playing politics with the fight against COVID-19 . The Governor merely relaxed the total lockdown for Two days to pave ways for the inaugurating of the New PDP Excos in Rivers state.

Again to enable the PDP Excos organise a Thanksgiving service on sunday, Gov Wike has as well extended the resumption of the Total lockdown.

We call on all well meaning Rivers people to resist any further Lockdown imposed by wike unless Wike and the Excos goes into quarantine for float the social distancing and gathering order as in the ORDER 006 of Gov Wike.

The Rivers youth movement also wishes to appeal to the Federal government to prevail on Gov wike to as a matter of urgency go into quarantine with all the Excos as well as undergo a COVID-19 Tests.

The Rivers youths Movement warns Gov wike to be ready for a brutal confrontation should he go ahead to impose any further Lockdown .

This is so on point. Why will u relax lockdown because u want to inaugurate PDP exco? U can imagine how men are insincere. Say no to another lockdown. We are totally in support for "No more lockdown"

Very disgusting from Wike. This is absolutely unacceptable..

Few days ago I hailed Wike and praised his effort and strict measures put in place to combat COVID19 in Rivers.

I was actually wrong Wike is just an hypocritical tyrant who believes he can do whatever he likes with Rivers people
So irresponsible and uncouth Governor

He purposely eased the lockdown so that himself and his kinsmen can gather and squander State resources.
