The G11 Passed A Vote Of Confidence On Prince Dapo Abiodun & His Administration by Ganiz(m): 4:23pm On May 15, 2020
The G11 political formidable force, which comprises of eleven (11) House of Assembly Candidates that lost their elections, during the 2019 General Election under ALL PROGRESSIVES CONGRESS (APC) in Ogun State met in Ijebu Igbo, Ijebu North Local Government which is the hometown of the current SSG of the Prince Dapo Abiodun Administration for 4 hours behind a close door. Ijebu Igbo being the hometown of late ICON Pa. Abraham Adesanya (former NADECO Chairman), also has many political significances. The meeting took place at one of the popular hotels in the town, on Wednesday 13th of May, 2020.

When our reporter approached one of the Honourable in the meeting, he revealed to us that the essence of the meeting is to brainstorm on the way forward on the happenings within the party as it affects the G11. He particularly mentioned that their meeting is also in line with the forthcoming preparation of the 1-year anniversary of the administration of His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun which also coincides with his 60th birthday come May 29.

The G11 passed a Vote of Confidence on His Excellency, Prince Dapo Abiodun and his Administration, while also using this medium to salute Our indefatigable Governor of Ogun State for all the wonderful jobs that have been going on in the State since the inception of His Excellency’s Administration, especially the commencement of Ijebu Ode – Epe road that has commenced in earnest among many other projects that have been completed across the Gateway State, while celebrating His much achievements within the short time in office, the G11 is wishing His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun (MFR) Happy 60th Birthday and happy 1st year Anniversary Celebration in office.

The reporter probe further to know what could have held them behind a closed door meeting for 4hours, He Approached Hon. Sunday Oyesanya (SOO), Sagamu constituency 2, who affirmed what was earlier said and further mentioned that, Other issues were discussed ranging from the brilliant intervention of His Excellency in tackling and curbing the spread of Covid-19 in the State despite the proximity to Lagos State, Governor Dapo Abiodun is fighting tirelessly to stop the spread of the pandemic and G11 is confident that COVID-19 will be a thing of the past soon in Ogun State ,also the issue of their Political Appointments was equally discussed, in fact that was the number one agenda of the meeting among other related issues.

It was clear that the G11 meeting in Ijebu Igbo on the 13th of May, was their first official meeting after the 2019 General Election and their party APC was declared the winner in the State and at Federal Level, it is obvious that the G11 meeting will
Re-enforced and solidify their unity as a platform under All Progressives Congress (APC) in the State.

While rounding up his speech, Honourable Adeleye Joseph Ademola (Aja Lo’Leru)from Ijebu North Constituency 1 appreciated His Excellency Prince Dapo Abiodun to have appointed four (4) out of them as Commissioners, Consultant and Transition Chairman while thanking His Excellency in anticipation of the remaining 7Members of the G11 yet to be appointed for their own Appointments.

The meeting was well attended having many of the G11 members in attendance:
1. Hon. Kayode Fabuyi, Yewa North, Constituency ll.
2. Hon. Olukokun Segun Ajani, Imeko/ Afon Constituency.
3. Hon. ADELEYE Joseph Ademola, Ijebu North constituency 1.
4. Hon. Sunday Olalekan Oyesanya, Sagamu Constituency II.
5. Hon. Orebiyi Bayo, Yewa South.
6. Hon. Bode Edun, Yewa North 1.
