Ebonyi is Igbo and Igbo is Ebonyi, and there's nothing anyone can do about it.

I understand their language vividly.

Lets face reality for once. I am from ikwo in Ebonyi state, but truth be told, what we speak in Ebonyi is not igbo. Do you know that I dare not speak Ebonyi direct where igbos from say Anambra folks are gathering. Our language and culture is quite different from what igbos speak.

Go and fix your delusion son. You should be more concerned with the backward Igbona and entire Araoke people in kwara state where Alimi rules over you.

Ebonyi is full blooded Igbo who are very industrious.

IPOB doesn't share that idea with you undecided

You are a bastard son of Ebonyi then.

There are different dialects in Igboland just like in every other places. I'm from owerri and my dialect would be a comic relief in the ears of an Ntezi man. Does that mean owerri language is not Igbo? There's also the central Igbo language used for academic purpose.

Can you compare the unique peculiarities of the Ebonyi spoken Igbo to that of Badagry people in Lagos State?

Ask Yorubas and they will tell you that Badagry language is totally different from Yoruba language but they are still Yorubas!

Ebonyi language in all its uniqueness is more Igbo than Badagry language would ever be Yoruba.

Don't be afraid to speak up bro, secondly if the people of Ebonyi deem it fit to create a nation of theirs then they should. According to modern day no country is too small to be a country.
Take the likes of San Marino, Singapore etc.

because ones you are gone with them it final and will be harder to pull out from them than it is for current Nigeria because so many regions are currently agitating for it at the moment.
Welcome to nairaland bro

It's something that pushes you to create an account right?

Will we say IPOB is fake because they started when a Northerner started ruling?

That's because you are not proud of where you come from. I'm from Afikpo and I speak my dialect anywhere.
Do you know that there's a part of Anambra that speak a different dialect from the general Anambra that we know?

When people understand that there are variations in Igbo language, we will keep going over this everyday.

There are no much difference between Abakaliki/Ezza/Izzi dialect from the native Enugu. Most Enugu people adopted Anambra as their dialect but when they speak their native dialect, it sounds more like Abakaliki Ezza Izzi dialect...

For those saying Ebonyi people, there's nothing like Ebonyi people. You don't define a people by a POLITICAL GEOGRAPHICAL area... You define a people by their culture, traditions, etc... In Ebonyi state, there are different people... You have the Afikpos, Ezzas, Izzis, and Ohaozara/Onicha all with different cultures, dialects, traditions. So you can't call them a people. They were brought together by politics.
The Ebonyi north and central was in the old Anambra and Enugu state respectively while Ebonyi South was in old Imo and Old Abia state.

Always shying away from facts. You've already seen cyberterror as Yoruba if not that's his people come around to testify. That has Always been Igbo's intent, especially those proud ones(Anambran). I have an Ebonyan in my compound here and I can relate to all that has been said., Igbos stigmatize them. Even posts that sees Ebonyan as bastard from Hausa descends flys on Ipob fb page. That's the reality which you know but refused to accept.
To average Igbo people, posts that exposes the inactions of Igbos are from Yoruba Muslims. Nonsense

I need you to note that all fingers are not equal. But if you think Ebonyi State is the least developed in SE, it could have something to do with the motley mooslim population in the state.

Islam supports poverty as piety, they spread poverty disease and hate wherever they are found as is the case in the north.

. If the governor of that state can start by proscribing the Islamic religion in his state, he would have solved 50% developmental issues cos the state is blessed with abundant natural resources than any other SE state.

Nnamdi Kanu speaking in Abakaliki

A visit by the leader of the pro-Biafra group, Indigenous People of Biafra, Nnamdi Kanu, on Monday visit to Abakaliki, brought the Ebonyi state capital to a halt as thousands of residents left their businesses to catch a glimpse of the controversial separatist leader.

Mr. Kanu, who is pushing for an independent Biafran state, is facing treason charges brought against him by the Nigerian government.

He was released on stringent bail conditions in May after about 18 months in detention. Amongst other conditions, the pro-Biafran leader was barred from granting interviews and holding rallies.

Mr. Kanu has gained popularity since his release from detention. Monday was his first official visit to Ebonyi State since his release, and residents eager to see Mr. Kanu, thronged major streets of Abakaliki chanting solidarity songs as his motorcade drove by.

The convoy entered the city via Presco flyover from the Enugu Abakaliki expressway into Ezza Road, causing traffic gridlock for hours.

It then proceeded through Ogoja Road, Afikpo Road back to Ogoja-Abakaliki Expressway, before terminating at Ezenwuba Primary School near mechanic village where he addressed the large crowd.

As the motorcade went along, it grew in length as residents joined with their vehicles, motorcycles and tricycles and on foot.

Police and other security agencies were on hand to escort the crowd to maintain order and forestall break down of law.

Addressing the crowd, Mr. Kanu who was garbed in Jewish regalia, said he was preparing for a bigger visit to the state.

“When next I visit Ebonyi, I promise you I will shut down Ebonyi state. Ebonyi is part of Biafra, let no one tell you otherwise,” he said.
