African American women and those with dark or black skin, have skin tones that range from light to dark across the color spectrum. Additionally, black skin is thicker textured and oilier than other skins. Cosmetics that suit white and pale skin tones do not suit black women. Black skinned women can enhance skin tones b, y choosing colors that complement the complexion and incorporating application techniques that highlight facial features.

Things You'll Need:

* Foundation
* Concealer brush
* Powder brush/puff/sponge
* Loose or compact face powder
* Blush brush
* Lip gloss
* Lipstick

Instructions
1 - Apply foundation on a clean face, choosing colors that match your skin undertone. Opt for cool (blue color) undertones if you have a rich ebony complexion, and warmer (golden color) undertones if your complexion is brown.

2 - Dot your face and neck with the chosen foundation, using your finger or a concealer brush. Gently rub or massage the foundation all over your face using upward, back and forth strokes to blend it in.
