Following the dwindling revenues occasioned by COVID-19 pandemic, the Federal Airports Authority of Nigeria (FAAN) has said it may not be able to pay full salary of staff as from May 2020 until the industry returns to normalcy. Half bread is better than none. They paid full salary to junior workers, that's commendable. At the end of this pandemic, if we don't learn any lesson as a nation, then its finished. I know that our leaders will forget all the challenges we faced during this period as soon as oil prices increases. They failed to save for raining season, They failed to build hospitals for us. They fail to slash their own salary /allowance They fail to pay hazard to front line workers I believe things will change at the end of this pandemic bt there will be massive suffering and jobloss before any positive changes. 1 Like |
