And where is Obudu ranch located? A large expanse of grazing lands with Presidential guest houses. GEJ used to spend his holidays there.
Did you build obudu?

Jargons.

All what you're posting is how you use minorities resources to develop enugu and umuahia.

Why was the old Easter capital moved from the calabar to enugu? At the same time the second was moved to umuahia?

Any one tell me?

All the paper are not clear, don't blind us pls

The good thing about ENDC projects is that they were usually privatized immediately after being set up.
Probably because they had noticed the penchant of government managed institutions to die off.

The East had pragmatic leaders .
Government has no business running businesses.
They should only serve as regulatory bodies.

Immediately Golden Guinea brewery and PH Glass industry were set up, they were privatized.
Same was done to the palm oil estates, hotel presidentials and other set ups.
This was why the setups were efficient.

Set up after the Midwest already separated from West and East were afraid they would soon be next and become land locked

Meanwhile, why Porthacult? Why not Uyo, Yenogoa or Calabar?

Is their land only good for plantations?

Agriculture is the basis of developed nations and biggest employers of labour.
Today, many states are looking for private developers to develop their agriculture sector.

Eastern region didn't wait for private developers.
They started the development themselves, then handed them over to private companies to manage.
This way the nepotism and bureaucracy that plaqued government managed institutions were averted.
The private companies employ natives to save costs. The plantations opened up the remote places by way of roads and Better employment opportunities. Government generated more IGR by taxing the companies. Win-Win situation for all involved.

Eastern region was created on 1939 with the capital at Enugu.
Calabar was never the capital of Eastern region for once.

If Anything, Lagos displaced Calabar as the capital of Southern Nigeria when Southern protectorate (SE and SS) whose capital was in Calabar was merged with Lagos colony (SW) whose capital was in Lagos.
After this merger in 1906, Calabar was displaced as the capital of Southern Nigeria, and it has remained so ever since then.

Hotels?

How many hotels did Awolowo built?

He built school and health centres

We gave them free Education and free health care we did no milk their land to build fancy hotels in our land or turn their land into our farm land.

Unlike the igbos, Yoruba actually had a larger land mass than the minorities.

@ emboldened is a terrible lie

Southern Nigeria was not only limited to S/S and South West

Majority of Ondo and some places in Yoruba land were always under southern Nigeria.

Why was the second capital Umahia?

Calabar, Yenogoa and rest were only good as farm lands?
