Beautyaddy:The only three english speaking countries left open to Nigerians for immigration are :Canada,Australia and UK. And the highest paid lawmakers in the world that attend to all their medical needs in Europe and have their children schooling abroad, not to mention their favourite location to spend their loot is Europe, intend to ban airlines of two of those countries APC is intent on making sure Nigerians are not able to escape from the hell they created. |

He has to go through a trial and be declared not guilty by a judge, since a warrant was issued for his arrest. The warrant for still his arrest in USA and Canada has not been vacated. FlappaNozzle:What they banned is "British airways" not KLM for instance flying passengers to Nigeria. As for inviting the Canadian high commissioner, he's not needed. You don't keep inviting to be assertive. |

RuudVanNisteroy:note : this is not a case of being fugitive or not , Nigeria has a bilateral agreement with these countries there could be a Waiver and modalities, under emergency situations like these. This is a government authority not an individual. Besides have you read the report for their refusal. The government has done their investigation and given their final decision which is in the right direction. |

onyechez:There will be clauses in the bilateral agreement. A country will not compromise their safety and security standard because of an emergency evacuation situation. |

RuudVanNisteroy:You don't know more than the Nigerian government and beside did those countries claim that their reasons and justification is fugitive. Did they from the report? |

figure007:What has been the progress of nation building since 1960?With the type of leaders Nigeria has in another 100 years we will still be battling with electricity, portable water, abuse of human rights, fantastical corruption and one of the worst road network in the world. When you have leaders with no conscience that regularly travel to Europe,Asia,Middle East and North America and refuse to deliberately replicate the same development and infrastructure they see in those countries- there is no hope. Do you know small countries like Namibia and Botswana run successful National Airlines? If Nigeria Airways was not mismanaged, it would have been used to evacuate Nigerians in UK and Canada. 1 Like

WAIT OH, But there are no Canadian airlines flying to Nigeria at the moment, so how can you ban them, when they don't even fly to Nigeria?
