If they boil it properly, it should wash off the venoms in the snakes belly.

It can take 2wks, even a month. While at it, it will keep away from humans/trouble . Does its best to maintain a high temperature to aid the digestion. It really has to gets this process done fast, lest the swallowed prey becomes a problem to the python. After that, it takes a break for months.
