Sin is a religious thing. It is when you do things that religious gods do not like. For example, when Yahweh commanded Saul to murder someone and he refused to do so. Then it became a sin. When the ark wanted to fall and somebody held it so that it will not fall, Yahweh slaughtered him because it is a sin to him.
Sin is subjective. What is a sin to Allah may not be a sin to Yahweh. What is a sin to Vishnu may not be a sin to Brahma.
