Rivers State University ( RVSU or RSU ), formerly Rivers State University of Science and Technology(UST) is a university located in the Diobu area of Port Harcourt, Rivers State, Nigeria.

The university has staff strength of 3,000 and a student population of 22,400 as of 2017. It is the first technological university in Nigeria and also the first university to be situated within the Niger Delta.

In 2014, it was rated as Nigeria's best E-learning institution and was ranked as the 15th best university in the country.

Architectural design of most universities in Nigeria are nothing to write home about....

....... a SCHOOL that does SHOT-PUT.
SHOT-PUT UNIVERSITY.

They litter Poo everywhere.
If Cow dungs don't catch up with you on your way to classes, Human Poo will always receive you in one of the lecture Halls.

Every FEMALE student that gets admitted into the University is advised to come with a CUSTARD BUCKET...
Little did I know that, that serves as a Receptacle for POO in their various rooms.
I thought AMAECHI had wanted to relocate it from DIOBU...?

Mind you other UNIVERSITIES are not exempted or Ignorant of this fact.

But this school is so dirty and nasty that even the high altitude or drone pictures couldn't cover the dirty buildings and surrounding.

honestly, the pictures I'm seeing her are ok for an average Nigerian university but the problem is that with the way people are hyping this university I was very disappointed with the pictures I have seen, I was expecting pictures that will compete with covenant university but seriously speaking this is very very sad why were they even hyping this university to that extence so far all of the universities in Nigeria are very bad especially the ones owned by government
bt d northern universities have better infranstructure than d ones we have here down south
by the way I heard that the toilet in these school is nothing to write home about and we are not ashamed to call this a University
