do investigate first.
they might or might be some other things involved in this, I both of them.
it's ain't easy for rape victims to blow it open so many prefer living with that all this ladies are coming out now is shocking, where were they during pastor fatoyinbo scandal that they didn't open up?
let us be very carry careful, do you investigation first establish all facts, cross examine you cousin if she's lying there will be inconsistency in her testimony.
though then they were younger, only legal practitioner can tell if case can be established or not but to check the guy not turnout a adult rapist he need be examined.
one truth here is the evil of the past is about to haunt him.
sure you didn't post this for front page attention?

A 5-6-year-old vs. A 9-10-year-old.

The sensitive nature of the topic "rape" won't allow one to be objective and air his/her view without let or hindrance.

Be smart in handling this issue.

The question is... Do they really know what they were doing at that age? Do they know there is a law prohibiting such actions.

I guess they the boy was exposed early

Send your cousin to therapy if you can afford it.

The way you ppl are going about this rape issue, there won't be justice over it anymore.

Martin Luther King Jr and Nelson Mandela despite fighting for the rights of blacks, they were also strict advocates for peace. They shunned their fellow blacks from overusing the privilege that comes from the freedom of justice

But the way Nigerians are going about it is more of noise and less of actions. Over a case that's still ongoing, Nigerians are already victimizing innocent men who had nothing to do with rape. See what was done to perruzi. Now this one wants to hold a person who was underaged when he did what he did.

How can a primary 1 student be raped and she kept quiet about it?Didn't her mum, friends or older siblings notice anything at that time?I smell a cooked story.

@OP, talk to your cousin and ask her what she would like to do. Should she choose to pursue this, she will be the one to tell her story over and over. Also, the rape laws where you live to understand what justice you can obtain for her. undecided
