Writing a high quality and presentable interview – CV is a hard task for many. Your CV undoubtedly says a lot about you and therefore needs to be highly written in order to capture the attention of your recruiter.
How do you write one that stand out from the many CVs human resources manager and recruiters receiver when recruiting.

What is a CV?
A curriculum vitae popularly known as CV is brief account of your educational skills, professional experience and more typically used for job applications. Below are the format that will help you to write a good CV .

Personal details

In this section, your name , address, phone number , email are to be boldly written in strategic location and in legible fonts so that they can be easily seen by the HR manager or recruiter.

Work Experience.

Here, it should start with the most recent job role. For each job role. It’s important to state your role and achievements. E.g 2017 – present — freelance technical translator, German English.

Education (institution and qualification).

The most recent institution and qualification should be put at the start. Certificate that is relevant to the job should also be added to this section.

E.g. Bayero University Kano —- 2017 qualification : B.Sc. Microbiology. Graduated with second class upper grade of 3.58.

Languages.

This section should include only language you can speak fluently. E.g versed in three foreign languages: Chinese, French and German.

Personal interest and hobbies

This section involved hobbies and activities interest. E.g . Researching, Dancing, playing, footballing e.t.c

References.

The standard number of reference is three , although some organisations request for two. The lesser the pages of the CV , the greater the attention it receives. It should be clear, direct, understanding and convincing. E.g Dr. Ibrahim Abdullahi, department of administration, block five , faculty of Education, Bayero University Kano.
